Bleach Addict
Very recently I’ve started watching anime again. While I regularly follow shows from time to time, my addiction with Bleach has leveled up in such a frustrating way. Ever since my mandatory 2 week leave from work, I’ve been squeezing in watching this series on YouTube every time I felt like I needed a break. Sitting for 4-5 hours straight is no easy task after all.
Anyways, I’ve managed to pick up from Season 1 those first few episodes that I’ve missed aired on Animax. Since then, every night has been a Bleach night. I watch it til wee hours in the morning like 3 or 4am. And sometimes when I really can’t wait for me to get home, I connect online using my phone and watch it right then and there. It’s been super fun really. It’s just that I can’t find a torrent for the episodes.
But I will find time. Believe me I will. Haha..
Maybe I’m basking in the feeling of having to look forward to something when I go home. Usually, when I get home, I don’t watch primetime tv. Most often, you’ll find me reading a book or trying to be busy with something else like cleaning. In any case, I am enjoying this very much. It reminds me of the time when I was much younger and I’d cry when I have to miss an episode of any anime I watched then because we have to leave for church or visit my grandmas.
I was probably in highschool then and I’d cry when I couldn’t watch my fave series then, Magic Knight Rayearth and Evangelion. Back then, the internet was not as rich as it is now. Media now is given for free (or stolen) and is readily available on the net. Geez, thinking back now I remember I have a lot of “serieses” then that I didn’t complete. The titles just evade me. I am so inspired to get that WiMax right now. Maybe I should just go to Globe Tel right now and get one. Hahaha…
Here I come, Ichigo!
There was an article I wrote before for my Communication class. Our prof asked us to write something explanatory on things we feel are unchartered for most people. Back then, I decided to write something about anime and explaining the differences between the Japanese culture that is based on manga versus the Looney Tunes and Disney genre. I remember getting an A for than and my teacher commenting on how much she learned about anime in one reading. Passion baby, passion!
That was like 10 years ago and I wonder if I can still find that article I wrote. It must be somewhere in my archives – yehehesss … archives. I feel like I have a ton of paper in my room. Boxes of books and notes and textbooks from college. Oh my. I remember now my passion for anime. I had sticker collections, playing cards, posters covering an entirety of a wall, toys, mini figures and sooo much stuff.
Looking at my younger brother now, I see myself in him. Like he has this collection of Gundam models, posters and figures. Soooo kawaii!
Ok, as I’m ending this post, it’s officially settled. I will go Globe during my lunch break and get a WiMax for myself!
